Artist Biography

Art, for Meesha, is a sanctuary and a spark — where the serious business of being human meets the joyful rhythm of spontaneity. Her paintings invite viewers to pause, breathe, and put a little more play in their day and  view the world with childlike curiosity once again.

Raised in the tropical vibes of Miami, Florida, Meesha grew up surrounded by Cuban culture and Art Deco buildings; early influences that still pulse through her work today. Encouraged by her uncles, she began painting signs, walls, and furniture for the family antique company — an experience that awakened her fascination with how art transforms space and spirit alike.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art from Florida State University (1993) and later, her Master’s degree in Education (2010), weaving together creativity, learning, and human connection to develop intriguing courses, videos and presentations. After three decades in corporate America, Meesha has finally returned to her first love — painting — with a renewed devotion to creativity as an empowering and connecting force.

Her process begins by creating a digital draft, which she follows up with hand-painted layering of light pigments over dark backgrounds to create luminous, textural works that often radiate a soft, ethereal glow. Each composition becomes a meditative space — a modern Magiscape — bluring the lines between nature and imagination, revealing the organic wonder within all things.

Through her art, Meesha invites viewers to remember the beauty that connects all living things. Her paintings are invitations for reflection and revelation — visual metaphors of connection that ask us to see not just the world around us, but the living energy within.
